General purpose of the job
Responsible for overseeing the QA process to ensure the highest quality of concrete is produced at each facility in the area by administering the Quality Assurance Program according to the specified guidelines. Communicates with Division QA Managers in implementing quality assurance objectives to assure Total Quality Management of concrete materials, processes, mix development, and submittal process in achieving Argos USA’s quality objectives to meet customer requirements. Inspects concrete delivered, checks for quality and is the lead trouble shooter for customer concerns relating to the quality of concrete. Trains employees to properly mix concrete to ensure the highest of quality. Directs and is responsible for mix optimization, continuous improvement of the quality level and cost efficiency of concrete mixes that will result in an optimum contribution to Argos USA’s business objectives.
